Job Description
THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED IN OAKLAND, CA
As an SDR at Turnitin, you will drive sales by identifying, engaging and qualifying leads. You will prospect for leads and reach out to qualify them over email and phone. You will be asked to think creatively about finding potential leads, as well as leverage traditional lead generation techniques in order to build the top of the sales funnel and transition leads to our account executives. The SDR will prospect into new school districts where Turnitin’s products and services can be of benefit. This role is important for increasing the effectiveness and success of the Sales team.
Under the leadership of the Regional Director, you will qualify incoming leads with the goal of scheduling meetings for the Account Executives. Additionally you will actively prospect into territories, as directed, to generate new leads. This is a revenue generating position where you will share in the success of new customer acquisitions.
