Position: Turret Operator (1/2Shift) Location: Ontario, NY Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Turret Operator to join our 1/2shift production team. In this role, you will operate a turret punch press machine to cut, shape, and prepare metal components according to machine settings and engineering blueprints. The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor turret punch press machines

Load, secure, and align sheet metal or plates on the machine table

Adjust machine settings based on work instructions, charts, and blueprints

Operate the machine to punch holes and mark layouts as required

Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Follow all safety protocols and wear required protective equipment

Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Prior experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment (preferred)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, charts, and work instructions

Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting

Ability to lift 25–50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)

Commitment to following safety guidelines and procedures

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift

Frequent use of hands, tools, and production machinery

Handling of metal materials such as sheet metal, aluminum, and stainless steel

Work performed in high-noise areas requiring hearing and eye protection

Work Schedule

1/2 Shift position

Overtime may be required depending on production demands
