Qualifications and Skills

Desired Qualifications:

Expert knowledge in high school sciences such as biology, chemistry and/or physics

2+ years of tutoring, teaching or mentoring experience (Teaching certification is a plus, as is ISD experience.)

College degree in the subject in which you tutor and/or currently pursuing a degree

Excellent interpersonal skills

True desire to help students succeed.

Reliable transportation

Live or work within 10 miles of one of the following towns: Frisco, McKinney, Little Elm, Prosper or The Colony.

Able to commit to at least 9 months of tutoring.

We are looking for tutors with expertise in one or all of the following subjects:

Science (all high school levels).

Biology

Chemistry

Physics

AP sciences

As a Tutor Doctor tutor, you will tutor students in their homes. Most tutoring takes place after typical school hours and/or weekends. You will be able to choose your schedule, and we do not require a min or max number of hours worked per week. Very flexible!
