We are looking for an exceptional elementary tutor who loves teaching ELAR (English, Language Arts, Reading, Writing, spelling,etc!)!

Elementary certified teacher (does not need to be currently teaching but must have classroom experience)

Teacher aide and/or paraprofessional with classroom experience

Education student in University

Teacher, aide, counselor, etc with specialization in learning disabilities, especially ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia

Homeschooling mom

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or currently a college student (3.2 GPA or above in the subject areas you will tutor)

No less than 2 years tutoring and/or teaching experience

Teacher certification is a PLUS

Willingness to travel up to 20 minutes to assignments

Understanding of TEKS, and willingness to collaborate with the students' teachers

Own a computer with up-to-date Word & Excel

Have basic computer skills

Organized, punctual, communicative and reliable

Compensation: $18-$26 per USD Hourly dependent on assignment

Please apply only if you are willing to commit to a minimum of 9 months to tutoring our students. Our families tutor for the long-term, and we only hire tutors that we feel will fulfill their obligation. Do not apply if you are only planning on tutoring until you find a full-time job or only over the summer.

Tutoring takes place in the client's pre-screened home typically after school and/or on weekends. Tutors choose their own schedules.
