If you are a current or former teacher, recent college graduate or expert in a specific field or industry (working or retired), you have what it takes to be a tutor! We are looking for passionate, caring individuals who would enjoy the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of students and their families.

Tutor Doctor is looking for a tutor with evening and weekend availability to work with local students from elementary school through high school in subjects like math, science, English and beyond. You will be responsible for your own transportation to offer one-on-one tutoring in person. Some tutoring may happen online.

Tutor Doctor is committed to providing a service that leaves a positive, lasting mark on people's lives, and we are just as committed to taking care of our tutors. We provide resources for support our tutors can tap into for help with subject content, working with different learning styles, etc. And we meet with and vet families first, taking into account students' unique needs and personalities, to match each of them with a tutor that's the best fit. This helps create a more enjoyable experience for the student and tutor, which makes the sessions as effective as possible.

Criteria:

Current or Retired Teachers, Recent College Students/Graduates, Previous Teaching or Tutoring Experience, Subject Matter Expert

Strong Communication and Organizational Skills

Must Demonstrate Creativity and Problem Solving

Must have reliable transportation

Must consent to a background check

Must enjoy working with kids and helping others
