EDUCATIONAL CONSULTANT

Tutor Doctor Lakeway is seeking a driven Educational Consultant to join our growing team.

This is a commission-based, remote position that is part-sales, part consulting. You set your own schedule and determine your own hours. There are no quotas to satisfy.

In this consumer facing role, you will need to:

· Understand the needs of the client

· Administer the appropriate diagnostic test for the client

· Interpret and share the results with the client’s family

· Be proactive in gathering information from educators, support staff, students, and parents

· Provide counsel and guidance to the client’s family regarding a tutoring plan

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Social Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must be extremely organized, inquisitive, thorough, detail oriented and have exemplary diplomacy and communication skills.

Ideal candidates will:

· Have a background in sales (but not required)

· Have experience in an education setting

· Have considerable knowledge of 504s and IEPs and learning disabilities as a whole

· Be able to closely examine and analyze results and spot trends

· Be able to critique, not criticize.

Tutor Doctor Lakeway is willing to train the right candidate. The EC may have to travel to Toronto for additional training at corporate.
