Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 60 college credits and at least one year of tutoring experience (experience in Math and ELA is preferred)
• Proven proficiency in subject matter
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and eager to help students succeed
• Strong communication skills to connect effectively with students
• Motivation and passion to tutor and inspire academic excellence
• Reliable transportation for in-person sessions in Menlo Park, CA (Proof of insurance required if driving)
• Must pass reference and FBI/DOJ background checks
• Must provide a negative tuberculosis test (valid within the last two years)
• Please submit any relevant certifications (Teacher’s Credential, Tutor Certification, etc.)
• Opportunity to earn a National Tutoring Association certification through StudentNest
