ENTHUSIASTIC MATH TUTOR:

At Tutoring Club, we teach students how to learn, and we believe that educators are mentors. Our team works closely with students to provide individualized support. The Job: We are seeking enthusiastic instructors who specialize in tutoring math and/or science to all students. Proficiency with classes like Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus is required. Proficiency with any of the following subjects is a plus: (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and/or Calculus. Tutoring Club offers a low-ratio environment for students and each tutor will be seated at his/her own individual table with up to three students per session (no roaming from table to table).

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coaching and guiding students to meet their academic goals

Strengthening students’ study habits and identifying how each student learns best

Working with up to three students at a time

Being engaging, nimble, and professional

Keeping detailed records of tutoring sessions

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (or currently enrolled in a degree program leading to a bachelor’s degree)

1+ years of previous tutoring experience (previous teaching experience is not required, but is a plus)

Reliable transportation

Ability to work two to five days/week
