We are looking for a tutor who is able to teach Algebra 2 and up. If you are able to teach: Algebra 2 and up; high school science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics); and/or College prep (SAT/ACT) we want to talk with you. Keep reading to see if you are the perfect fit.

Responsibilities

Confidently tutor up to 3 students per hour on different subjects in our center.

Assist with homework and helping students to study for tests.

Our tutoring schedule is Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

You won’t need to do any lesson planning or curriculum development on your own time. Our admin team does all that for you! You just get to come in and have fun with our students.

$100.00 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days of employment.

Pay is between $14 - $18 per hour depending on qualifications

We are super flexible regarding your schedule.

We love experienced tutors and will pay more for your experience!

Our students need extra help and the more that you can help them, the more you will shine!!

Qualifications

Let’s talk about job qualifications:

We prefer that you have a Bachelor's Degree or have at least 60 credit hours in college.

You will need to CONFIDENTLY tutor reading, writing, and math to 3 students at the table each hour. Don’t worry, we provide fantastic training!

You will need to be able to multitask.

Our kids look up to our tutors as mentors and coaches, so you will need to be firm and loving with the students; setting effective boundaries and helping them stretch academically!

In order to get the maximum number of hours and have a minimum of 10 hours of availability, you will need to be available to tutor for a minimum of 3 days each week.

You must have your own laptop and be comfortable tutoring using DIGITAL programs

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
