I’ve partnered with a leading Bio health & technology company in Austin that is looking to take COVID head-on and use technology to better manage and detect diseases around the world.  Because their mission is to help rid the world of illness and tackle the pandemic directly, they are continually receiving funding to continuing growth their technology and research teams - they are desperately needing technology experts to join their team so they can continue to advance to company’s development.  

One of the most urgent needs is a Lead QA engineer to help oversee and develop their testing department.  As a lead, this will be very much a hands-on role that will help mold and shape your leadership abilities, and be the steppingstone into management.  You will be at the forefront of building the test automation functions, as you will leading a team of QAs to be experts at testing APIs and automate the process as much as possible.  

Your knowledge of SQL and Unix environments will be key to succeeding in this position, as this will make up the core of the role.    A background in Java is essential for this role, while Scala is a huge plus.

This is a full-time position, and salary is market dependent as the role is based in North Austin and San Francisco. Currently, both locations are working remotely due to the coronavirus restrictions, so you will join the team remotely until they go back into office.
