Cleans plugs, dies, and tooling bars during shift to maintain quality and production as required
Continuously checking vials for visual defects following Quality Inspection Plan
Monitors production line performance by checking hot end losses on lehr belt, determining the source of loss and notify appropriate personnel
Monitor process control using Infinity software to produce acceptable Cp/Cpk values as well as monitoring cold end cosmetic vision reject percentages
Ensure tube loader remains properly loaded
Cleans machines and related equipment of oil, glass, or other matter per the standard operating procedure, SOP and as required by preventative maintenance tasks
Maintains floor and general area around machines in a clean and neat manner in accordance with housekeeping and 5S standards
Performs other duties when required or requested.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 2 years production and/or shipping experience, preferably in the metals/materials industry.
Ability to comprehend and execute work assignments with minimal follow up.
Customer service and quality driven.
High level of mechanical aptitude.
Ability to be cross trained in other functions.
Ability to use diverse hand tools and equipment to perform duties.
Basic math, reasoning, problem solving and computer skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
