REQUIREMENTS OF THE SAND BLASTER:

• Sandblasting strips a surface of dirt, rust, old paint, and grease, and prepares it for refinishing and repair using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical equipment. 
• Manual labor and is physically demanding 
• uses abrasive blasting equipment to remove paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt 
• use of masking film, tape, and rubber. 
• Lifting, caring and setting up heavy equipment 
• Preparing parts for painting
• Cleaning and changing nozzles

Qualifications

Qualifications for the Sand Blaster: 

• At least one year of blasting experience. 
• Able to stand for most of the day
• Great attention to detail 
• Excellent problem solving skills 
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds 
• Must be able to read, write, and understand instructions in English
