Job Description

JOB DUTIES OF THE MANUFACTURING ASSEMBLER:

• Use proper material handling processes to move product throughout all manufacturing processes
• Inspect all parts for cosmetic and functional defects per customer specification
• Perform drilling, pounding, trimming, heating, and other related tasks using appropriate hand tools and fixtures
• Appropriately insert/apply decals, tags, stickers, handles, etc.
• Clean surfaces using rags, compressed air, or other defined methods
• Use prescribed guidelines to determine when to repair or reject the non-conforming product
• Perform repair techniques as appropriate
• Follow communication / record-keeping process regarding rejected productManage work in process quantity per instructions by helping at other stations or requesting help

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ASSEMBLER:

• High school diploma or equivalent, trade school and/or technical training
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Other combinations of education and experience will be considered
