TWO CHAIRS IS CONTINUING TO HIRE WITH ALL INTERVIEWING AND ON-BOARDING DONE VIRTUALLY DUE TO COVID-19. EVERYONE NEW TO THE TEAM, ALONG WITH OUR CURRENT STAFF, WILL TEMPORARILY WORK FROM HOME UNTIL IT IS SAFE TO RETURN TO OUR OFFICES.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission by architecting and building Two Chair's first mobile app from ideation to launch - a care companion that enables a best-in-class therapy experience for our clients and clinicians. This cross-functional role will allow you to work with key stakeholders including marketing, product, and our clinical team. You'll work with a team of stellar engineers to build innovative products that will fundamentally transform the mental health space by combining the best of humans and technology.

WHERE YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Architect and build our very first web and mobile apps
• Understand our clients deeply to build a warm, compassionate mobile experience that complements their clinical journey
• Work with our product, clinical programs and marketing teams to ideate and build a thoughtful mobile experience that reflects our brand with a focus on quality and outcomes.
• Collaborate with fellow teammates to enhance and optimize our current systems with new features and increased stability. Work with engineers across our stack to launch our first app and guide our future-looking app architecture and strategy
• Apply best practices for writing clean, secure, readable, scalable code.

YOU'LL BE SUCCESSFUL IF YOU: 

• 3+ years of engineering experience with a track record of architecting and building consumer centric products from start to finish.
• Experience with a cross-platform mobile framework (such as React Native)
• Experience bridging mobile frameworks into seamless native experiences via native code
• Experience in full-stack web development
• An understanding of how to build, test, and launch a mobile app on the App Store / Google Play
• Deep understanding of mobile development concepts and principles with good intuition for product and design.
• Get it done attitude with passion about building something great with a great team.
• Experience working in a fast paced startup environment is a plus.
