REQUIREMENTS
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for designing, building and providing guidance related to cloud computing architecture that integrates with existing infrastructure and business process while sustaining business productivity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and document robust cloud solutions per well architected standards and best practices that are cost effective, resilient, scalable and aligned with business strategy utilizing architecture methodology.
- Responsible for cloud roadmap, strategy and evaluating for onboarding new technologies.
- Remain well-versed in latest technologies and cloud architecture patterns to provide them as potential solutions to business opportunities.
- Architect end-to-end solutions using cloud native methodology and automation provisioning and management of infrastructure.
- Execute, plan and participate in projects utilizing Agile project management principals and tools.
- Manage vendor relationship and harmonize needs across all stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of innovation and mutual advancement.
- Lead in streamlining IT Business processes impacting NPD.
- Design quality control and test procedures to ensure the deliverables meet established design and performance goals.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 8+ years of Information Technology industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience developing cloud-based applications and/or solutions.
- Experience with Cloud Orchestration tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, and configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc is a plus.
- Provide in-depth documentation, instructions and learning materials of all works being rolled out to the larger organization or teams i.e. software/architecture designs and patterns that can be absorbed by cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of AWS Regions, Availability Zones, End Points, Local Zones, Outpost etc.
- Experience of AWS services and components like EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, route tables etc.
- Experience with implementing DevOps processes and tools Azure DevOps and AWS CodePipeline is a plus
- Analytical, problem solver with ability to challenge existing processes and come up with innovative solutions
- Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with software tools for requirements management, engineering analysis, and statistical analysis.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) with cross-functional team members and business stakeholders. Build key relationships and lasting partnerships.
- Demonstrated technical project management skills on multi-year projects with multi-functional teams.
- Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
- Masters/Doctorate in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with system engineering for combined hardware, software systems.
- Java, Python or other Object-Oriented Programming and troubleshooting skills.
