Our workshop in Indianapolis houses carpentry, welding, paint and CNC departments alongside experienced project management and CAD resources.

    We are looking for a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our front office team. This key role will lead the accounts payable function within the company, along with supporting our team with purchasing materials, and handle office administration duties.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks is required.
    • Previous experience in accounts payable and purchasing is required.
    • Strong communicators who can work across multiple departments to solve problems and drive process improvements.
    • Able to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Intelligent, resourceful, results-oriented go-getter to help drive expansion.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
    • Ability to work as both part of a team and independently
    • Willingness and drive to learn and grow new skills within the organization.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field

    Job Responsibilities will include:

    • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and enhance the overall purchasing process.
    • Maintain supplier relationships with multiple levels.
    • Developing an effective and accurate system for making purchase orders to meet the requests of the fabrication team.
    • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices, coding expenses, and preparing payments.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor records and files.
    • Lead Accounts Payable function for Tyler Scenic
    • Provide support for technical accounting issues related to accounts payable.
    • Oversee front desk responsibilities including answering all incoming calls, transferring calls, receiving, and distributing all incoming deliveries, and greeting visitors.
    • Maintain and order office supplies.
    • Acts as a main point of contact for tracking employee hours and processing new employee data.
    • Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership
    • Other duties as assigned.
