JOB SUMMARY
TypTap’s Client Services Representative is responsible for the processing of changes requested by agents and clients, while providing exceptional customer service. Will assist with policies and claims from TypTap Insurance Company, Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty, Griston Claim Services, and others as necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides exceptional customer service.
- Processes endorsements and policy changes forwarded by agents and policyholders.
- Responds to client questions and concerns.
- Prepares quotes, endorsements, cancellations, and payments.
- Keeps detailed records of transactions within multiple policy management systems.
- Handles First Notice of Loss calls.
- Provides assistance to sister companies and other departments during CAT (catastrophe) events.
- Update industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations; and staying current with Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Clear, concise oral and written communication skills.

- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Hard-working.
- Basic understanding of Homeowners insurance a plus.
- Bilingual a plus.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or closely related field preferred.
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATIONS
- 20-44 or 2-20 Insurance License.
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
- Sunday-Thursday, 1pm-10pm
- Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-6pm
- Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm
