    Job Description

    Business Management Firm seeks Accounting Clerk. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to further his or her experience in business management and accounting in the Entertainment vertical. The ideal candidate is an energetic, detail oriented, self-starter who can multi-task and be comfortable working on multiple clients, in a variety of fields who use various versions of QuickBooks accounting software. Strong communication and organizational skills a must. You are a master pivot-er, answer-seeker, love numbers and working with people. This position is very important in that there will be many hats to wear. Huge potential to grow into a Staff Accountant for the right candidate. Please note, the first interview is a combination of meeting, a working portion and skills test. You will be compensated for the working and skills test portion. Please allow two hours for this interview. Job Duties:

    • Processing and reviewing accounts payable and receivable • Frequent journal entries: AJE, payroll, etc. • Reconciliation, coding and classing of credit card statements • Bank downloads and reconciliations • Petty Cash: Processing, reconciling, and booking advances • Assist with annual audit, 1099 forms, and YE financials. • Handle other day to day Accounting Clerk tasks, report to Senior staffer

    Job Qualifications:

    • Must have at least 1-3 years accounting experience, internship is included.
    • Knowledge of production and royalty accounting a plus
    • Intermediate knowledge of QuickBooks (Certificates preferred). A proficiency test will be given.
    • Working knowledge of common financials, logic and information formulas in Excel. A proficiency test will be given
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
    • Must be computer savvy and comfortable with CRM software, servers, PC and Mac usage
    • Highly detailed and organized with a desire to streamline, maintain and enforce internal processes
    • Accounting or Business Management Degree Preferred
