POSITION

The firm is seeking a highly motivated Investment Banking Summer Analyst to join our team this Summer. The firm provides an excellent opportunity to gain an expansive breadth of hands-on experience across the education and global knowledge sector focusing on M&A (sell-side and buy-side) and general market strategy assignments. The prospective candidate will support in managing and executing deals and prepare presentation materials to communicate their ideas and findings to clients. Specific duties will include assisting team in financial modeling, valuation analysis, client presentations, and market research. The position could lead to full-time for the right candidate.

An Intern's primary responsibilities include:

• Provide support on prospective and live transactions
• Perform financial, business and market analysis with a special emphasis on reformatting financial statements and benchmarking key performance metrics
• Assist in preparing and creating deal materials (e.g., Confidential Information Memorandum, Pitch books, Management Presentation, etc.)
• Industry and market research – establishing historical fact-base and growth assumptions
• Customer research and analysis
• Competitor landscape and benchmarking

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree with strong academic record from a top tier undergraduate program, ideally in finance, accounting, business administration, economics or mathematics
• Previous investment banking or other relevant internship experience strongly desired
