We live in lower Manhattan and our 12-year-old son attends school near Lincoln Center. We're looking for someone 2-3 days per week to pick him up from school at 2:15, do some fun activities with him and bring him home. Ideas include museums, parks, SOME video games (but not exclusively); other ideas are welcome! He is very bright and funny and needs a buddy he admires and trusts who can coax him out of his comfort zone sometimes. He's a huge fan of Pokemon and Nintendo games, so interest and fluency in those worlds is a big plus. Experience with ASD kids is also helpful. You should be energetic, positive-minded, flexible, supportive and willing to travel on subway. Strong preference for candidates located in Manhattan, Brooklyn or Queens.
