    SAN FRANCISCO, CA

    This position is located in the Clerk's Office in San Francisco and reports to the Procurement Supervisor. The Supply Clerk will be responsible for helping the Procurement department with the receiving, storage, movement, and distribution of supplies and materials. The incumbent will serve as a backup mailroom clerk as needed.  Additional Courtroom Deputy responsibilities will also be assigned. Timeliness, flexibility, organizational skills, accuracy, and a strong

    work ethic are critical. Fast-paced environment. Heavy lifting required.

    REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

    • Receives deliveries and restocks storerooms.

    • Maintains and organizes an inventory of supplies, materials, and court property.

    • Distributes materials, supplies and equipment.

    • Act as backup mailroom clerk when necessary.

    • Moves/transports property and people as required.

    • Maintains electronic vendor records in the accounting database.

    • Assists the Procurement Supervisor with various tasks including logistical operations, office design and purchasing.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS    

    High School graduation or equivalent, plus two years of general work experience in the above representative duties and:

    • Valid driver's license; clean driving record.

    • Excellent organizational skills; Highly attentive to detail.

    • Proficient with email and experienced with Windows-based applications. (namely Excel and Adobe)

    • Able to easily lift 50 pounds or more.

    • Able to operate office equipment (postage meter, copier, phones, scan/fax machines).

    • Able to follow directions, follow up on requests and effectively organize requisitions.

    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to work well with others.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS   

    • Associate degree or higher.

    • Experience driving a van for transporting materials and equipment.

    • Inventory experience.

    Salary*: Depending on qualifications and experience, $42,627 to $69,274 (CL23)
