    JOB DESCRIPTION/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Operate equipment (standup/sit-down/swing reach forklift, aerial lift) in a safe and timely manner.  Ensure equipment is kept clean, perform daily safety checklists and communicate equipment problems.  Change forklift battery as necessary, wear appropriate safety equipment.  Support manufacturing with raw material, tooling, requisition product from warehouses, maintain Kanban/2BIN and ensure material availability on the shop floor.  Prioritize material requirements and assist in determining production priority.  Participate in cycle count program/perform verifications and maintain inventory accuracy of 99%+.  Must maintain a valid forklift license and follow MIOSHA standards as a professional material handler.  Participates in standard job rotations.

     

    PHYSICAL/ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:                                                                                                                                          

    Must be able to stand for long periods of time.  Bend and twist at the waist frequently.  Push and pull with a force up to 25 pounds and push up to 55 pounds.  Squat and kneel occasionally.  Have good eye and hand coordination.  Lift up to 50 pounds frequently.  Work around moving machines.  Tolerate heat, dust and vapors. Discriminate between Knoll colors.  Wear safety equipment.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENT REQUIRED.
