Development Associate- Part-time or Full Time ( On-site and remote)
Founded in 2015, UA3 is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to make a positive impact and lasting improvement in the underserved aspects of our communities through youth empowerment, education, promotion of health and mental health, to support the creation of socio-economic opportunities, and to channel needed resources for the betterment of those in need. UA3 strives to accomplish our goals through partnership with public and private sectors, educational institutions, and community social and service organizations.
Job Description:
Work closely with the Executive Director to execute funding development goals, programs, and plans.
Prepare funding requests for grants and corporate sponsorships.
Assist with social media campaigns related to donor development, recruitment, retention, and special events.
Manage donor database, reporting, and data analysis. Maintain foundation, corporation, and individual donor files. Includes data entry and maintenance and report generation.
Drafting donation and sponsorship solicitation letters to potential donors/sponsors.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of college credits plus experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Team player and self-starter attitude
Advance communication and writing skills
High level of personal energy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Understanding and passion for social justice community issues
Compensation: $40,000 – $45,000 per annum plus health benefits, sick, and vacation leaves plus 401k
