Our core competencies include systems engineering, program and project management, logistics, information technology and cyber security, and software development services. We were founded in 1990 and since our establishment we have been providing cutting edge solutions and support to our warfighters. We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

     

    We are currently seeking a Crane Operator/Technician to support our Newport, RI customer. This is a contingent opportunity (contingent upon successful contract award.)

     

    The functional description of the opportunity is as follows:

    The successful applicant must possess skills & abilities necessary to support a full range of tasks performing maintenance and complete refurbishment of electro-mechanical systems used during the testing and functional verification of undersea weapons launching systems. They will have a high degree of mechanical/electrical aptitude is required. Their tasks include refurbishment and end-to-end testing of hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies and sub-assemblies, maintenance, repair, and testing of complex electro-mechanical components, interfacing with design engineers to verify compliance with design/operational specs and parameters.

     

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Certified Category 2 crane operator/CAT 2 crane-licensed in accordance with Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) P307 requirements.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of experience as mechanical technician.
    • Applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and via written communications
    • Computer skills are a plus, as is knowledge of military protocol and familiarity with submarine weapon launching systems.

     

    EDUCATION REQUIRED: High school Diploma or GED 

     

    MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A SECURITY CLEARANCE UP TO AND INCLUDING THE SECRET LEVEL.
