THIS IS A SKILLED POSITION INVOLVING THE SAFE AND EFFICIENT OPERATION OF ROLLERS AND COMPACTORS TO BRING ASPHALT, SOILS AND AGGREGATE WITHIN COMPACTION SPECIFICATIONS. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of asphalt and aggregate characteristics
• Knowledge of rolling patterns.
• Familiarity with vibrating frequencies in comparison to maximum depth.
• Must be able to follow grades.
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times
• Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time
• Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Policies, Programs & Procedures Manual
• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

Required Skills Required Experience

Must be a current La Sierra University student with the ability to type 35wpm, have current CA Driver License, be CPR and First Aid certified, no criminal record and pass Rookie test. Must be 18 or older.

CLERICAL TEST IN HUMAN RESOURCES IS REQUIRED.
