HEALTH POLICY RESEARCHER
UCSF/UC Law Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy
Class 2038, 2051, or 2052 / Exempt / Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 0.5 FTE) / Benefited / Contract / Remote-eligible (West Coast hours)
The mission of the UCSF/UC Law Consortium on Law, Science and Health Policy is to support interdisciplinary collaboration between faculty and students at UCSF and UC Law SF on a wide variety of subjects at the intersections of law, science, and health policy. The Consortium develops, implements, and supports initiatives in education, research, and clinical training and service.
The Source on Healthcare Price and Competition is a grant-funded, nonprofit initiative of the UCSF/UC Law Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy. For nearly a decade, The Source has provided legal, economic, and policy resources on state efforts to control healthcare spending and promote healthy markets.
The Health Policy Researcher will assist with current research and writing projects as well as develop and conduct independent research projects. The researcher will help apply for grants for The Source on Healthcare Price and Competition and the UCSF/UC Law Consortium on Law, Science, and Health Policy. The Health Policy Researcher must be able to successfully progress multiple projects simultaneously and independently while being an integral part of a highly collaborative team.
