Anticipated Hiring Rate: $37,500 (based on a full-time rate of $100,000)
The ombudsperson provides impartial conflict resolution services to all members of the UC Hastings campus community. Conflict resolution services include consultation, negotiation, mediation and problem solving. The ombudsperson may receive a wide range of complaints from faculty, students, staff, and administrators. They are expected to exercise judgement in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to facilitate equitable resolutions that are mutually satisfactory to all parties of a conflict.
Typical duties and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the following:
