ARE YOU LOOKING FOR MEANINGFUL WORK? DO YOU HAVE A PASSION FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES? IF SO, THEN UCPLA IS THE COMPANY FOR YOU! When you join the UCPLA team, you help us bring independence to adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We offer competitive starting salaries, Paid Holidays, Vacation Benefits, Paid Sick Leave, Referral Bonus Plan, and Retirement Plan to part-time employees.
UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY OF LOS ANGELES, VENTURA & SANTA BARBARA COUNTIES (UCPLA) is launching a new service providing truly accessible restrooms to public event venues in Los Angeles! For many people with severe disabilities, finding a restroom with an adult changing table, hoist for easy transfer, and enough room to comfortably fit them and their care provider(s) is almost impossible. As a result, many limit the time they spend in public spaces to just a few hours.
As a Driver - Community Ambassador, you will be on the front lines of this life-changing movement to increase community accessibility for everyone! In addition to driving and setting-up the mobile restroom to exciting events around Los Angeles, you will also be the face of our organization, informing the public of the importance of these restrooms in public spaces, and supporting people and their care provider(s) by providing a clean, safe, and dignified restroom option.
