The MEMBERSHIP SALES & MARKETING SPECIALIST's(MSMS) primary responsibility is to generate new leads that convert into new memberships for the gym. The MSMS is responsible for all aspects of the gym's new member sales including lead generation, conversion rates, tracking and follow-up, Business-to-Business, follow up on all lead sources.

A high percentage of the MSMS's time will be on ensuring Membership execution on lead, appointment setting, and guest goal in order to hitenrollment and financial targets set forth by the company.

Accountability & Performance Management is an integral component of MSMS role in order to execute on monthly sales metrics and drivers.

Personal lead generation is a key component of the MSMS’s responsibility in order to ensure that the membership sales department hits their monthly targets in New Member Sales, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Point of Sale Private Coaching goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Generation & Appointment Booking

Internal marketing and prospecting. This includes collecting prospect leads at our physical location in Park City Center Mall and from the current member base through relationship building and referrals.

External marketing, promotions and prospecting. This is a daily activity to passionately promote, building relationships and follow up with individuals, athletic/sports groups while also spreading the word to the community of UFC gym "train different" philosophy and services,.

Ultimately resulting in increased prospects and membership base through relationship building and referral tables. These activities must translate into lead gathering.

Book membership appointments through productive phone activities to grow gym membership and meet conversion and enrollment goals.

Up to 60%+ of work is on phone and computer.

Must be available to work some evenings and weeksends.

Guest Touring, Membership Presentations, & Personal Production

Ensure that 100% of guests are presented the “Fitness Tour” when touring guests around the gym. (These tours should translate into enrolling half of the guests that are seen on a membership (50% Closing minimum) and enrolling with Personal Training (25%).

Use the company approved presentation when presenting membership options to non-members.

Ensure Personal Sales and Financial goals are met or exceeded each month

New Member Sales Revenue (NMS), Point of Sales Personal Training Revenue (POS PT) and New Electronic Funds Transfer Sets (EFT).

Daily follow up with all Appointment 'Did-Not-Show' and 'Did-Not-Enroll'.

Customer Service

Follow up with members that have enrolled to ensure we are exceeding their gym expectations.

Provide the highest level of customer service possible when communicating and interacting with guests.

Assist in maintaining a clean and operational facility.

Accountable for saving members that are requesting to cancel their membership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Knowledge of sales practices and techniques.

General understanding of Fitness Industry.

Ability to work with computers.

Must have good interpersonal communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills

Independent, self-starter with strong organizational skills.

MUST be a team player

Minimum educational and experience level:

High school degree or GED required

1-2 years sales and/or marketing experience preferred

1 year in a customer service lead or sales management/supervisory role preferred
