    Position Title: Fitness Counselor

    Job Description: The UFC Gym Fitness Counselor(FC) directly reports to the Membership Manger and will ensure the members receive the highest quality of service and amenities, while spending a majority of time prospecting, networking and driving new leads to enroll as members. The FC will be expected to achieve financial targets, service members and contribute to the overall operational needs of the club as outlined in this job description. This will be accomplished by working cohesively with club personnel as well as executing directives from the MM and GM. The FC will demonstrate an aptitude to follow all company-wide policies, procedures and club directives provided by the MM, GM and/or the company. The FC position requires innovation, competitiveness and the ability to be developed on an ongoing basis to ensure the integrity of the UFC Gym brand.

    Requirements:

    Fitness experience preferred

    Sales experience preferred.

    Responsibilities:

    Administration/Organization

    Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures/policies that pertain to the club and company.

    Demonstrate compliance with all standard operating procedures/policies.

    Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.

    Contributes to team cohesion and productivity to reach club goals.

    Illustrate an ability to make efficient decisions.

    Knowledge of club organizational structure and purpose.

    Sales/Revenue Management

    Demonstrate the ability to be self-sufficient and self-motivated in driving personal sales revenue.

    Achieve personal sales goals including, but not limited to, New Membership sales, Personal Training sales and Merchandise.

    Achieve revenue goals through the process provided by the Membership Manager.

    Support company programs and promotion to help generate new sales leads for optimum membership growth.

    Follow tracking forms provided by management. These forms may include, but not limited to, tracking for personal stats, payroll and/or any other important information needing to be documented.

    Ensure that all promotions are effectively supported and executed.

    Make calls to members owing past due payments and collecting money owed to UFC Gym.

    Required to prospect, make phone calls, lead generation and appt bookings daily to drive membership revenue.

    Review all sales-related communications from management.

    Ensure there is knowledge and understanding of the club programs, facilities and equipment.

    Required to be involved with the community by setting up onsites, health fairs and other outside networking programs.

    Ensure all pricing requirements and guidelines are adhered to all times.

    Operations

    Work with club personnel to ensure cohesion and efficiency of overall club operations.

    Ring up merchandise and other items through the POS system.

    Address member complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner while following club procedure and documentation.

    Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to the members.

    Contribute to the company standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security.

    Ensure visible maintenance items are addressed promptly, proper signage is posted and out of service equipment removed from the floor if possible.

    Responsible for contributing to the clubs cleanliness.

    Always prompt and on time for scheduled shifts, meetings and trainings.

    Complies with payroll policies and procedures.

    Meetings

    Attends monthly and/or weekly department meetings.

    Attends employee one on one or group training meetings.

    Accountabilities

    Implement and support company programs and promotion to help generate new sales leads for optimum membership growth.

    Ensure that the club meets Crunch standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, security and operations.

    Conduct frequent walk throughs of the club to recognize items needing to be addressed.
