General Experience: • The proposed candidate must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in user experience and service design.
• Five-plus (5+) years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating user- centric design solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar software. • Strong understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and design thinking principles. • Experience in designing complex systems, data-driven applications, and enterprise software. • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG, Section 508). • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements and priorities. • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Specialized Experience: • The candidate should have experience planning and facilitating workshops, meetings and/or other interactive sessions in order to gather feedback and insight from key customers and stakeholders to determine operational needs and changes to the program. • Experience in enterprise or data-intensive web applications. • Understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG). • Familiarity with design systems (e.g., Material UI, Carbon Design System). • Knowledge of animation frameworks (e.g., Framer Motion, GreenSock). • Exposure to low-code/no-code tools or design tokens for scalable design systems. • Key qualifications include strong project management skills, leadership abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to identify and resolve issues while adapting to changing circumstances. Significant experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders is essential • Preferred qualifications include a technical background and experience in data and AI/ML projects. Functional experience with local or government projects in Data Services (MDM/R360/EDMS).
