    A long-standing leader in the publishing and distribution industry is seeking a UI/UX Designer to support key digital and eCommerce initiatives. This role focuses on improving user journeys, reducing friction in the buying process, and ensuring a seamless, intuitive experience across both core product lines and ancillary product lines. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how customers interact with a well-established brand in a modern, digital-first environment.

    This is a contract role with flexibility to work remotely and also part-time as needed based on the project.

    The Role You’ll Play

    The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for leading design efforts that directly impact customer experience and digital sales. This individual will drive UX initiatives on high-visibility projects, ensuring product detail pages and checkout workflows align with customer needs and best practices in modern eCommerce.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Lead UX initiatives for product detail pages (PDP/PLP) and checkout workflows.

    • Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyze GA4/FullStory data to inform designs.

    • Translate findings into wireframes, prototypes, and final UI/UX solutions in Figma.

    • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation.

    • Maintain alignment with brand standards and design guidelines.

    Background Profile

    The ideal candidate is a proactive UI/UX professional with strong eCommerce experience, a customer-first approach, and the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.

    Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of UI/UX experience in eCommerce or SaaS.

    • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end UX design.

    • Proficiency in Figma and modern design systems.

    • Experience with user testing and data-driven design decisions.

    • Strong understanding of responsive web design.

    • Independent, self-sufficient, and comfortable leading projects.
