About the Role:

Advance Diagnostics in Pontiac, MI is looking for a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated diagnostic team. If you're passionate about patient care and delivering high-quality imaging results, this is your opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives every day.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, pelvic, vascular, small Parts and obstetric imaging

Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality

Analyze sonographic images and relay findings to physicians and radiologists

Document patient histories, exam results, and technical findings accurately in medical records

Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance protocols

Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care and scheduling

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program

ARDMS certification (or registry-eligible) required

Previous clinical experience in ultrasound imaging preferred

Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and PACS systems

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images

Excellent patient communication and bedside manner skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
