    Job Description

    • Inpatient/Outpatient position
    • Duties will include in-patient rounding, consults, admissions, and discharges, pre- and post-ops, and medication management, wound care, casting, diabetic foot care, general outpatient podiatry care, etc.
    • Assist in the OR as needed
    • See patients in collaborative out-patient care clinics, and run clinic sessions independently
    • Employed position with a large, well-respected medical group
    • Work collaboratively and directly with our Podiatric Surgeon
    • Full- time position and will consist of a Monday –Friday schedule with flexibility to join OR cases as needed.

    Education and Experience

    • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland or willing to obtain.
    • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
    • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
    • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
    • Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
    • Successful candidate will be confident, energetic, compassionate and self-motivated.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program required.
    • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner required.
    • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
    • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
    • Experience preferred, not required.
    • DEA and CDS eligible.
