    Job Description

    Nurse Practitioners will:

    • Provide focused preventative care with a focus on diagnosing and treating conditions that affect a women’s physical and mental health.
    • Clinic coverage only, 20 hours per week, No call
    • Provide full scope of care that may include routine gynecology services such as well women exams, UTIs, HRTs, vaginitis, contraceptive care including IUD and Nexplanon insertions, pregnancy care, female cancers and menopause.
    • Collaboratively work with obstetricians, gynecologists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, midwives and support staff.

    Qualifications

    • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification Womens Health Nurse Practitioner
    • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required or ability to acquire an unrestricted license.
    • Required 5 years of Nurse Practitioner experience and office experience
    • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
    • Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
    • Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
    • Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.
    • Excellent oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, organization skills are required.
