What We Need UMortgage is looking for a personable, professional, and motivated intern to join our Human Resou Team! As a People Team intern, you will work closely with our Recruiting and Growth, Culture and Engagement, and Learning and Development teams to assist with ongoing projects and business initiatives. Interns should be positive, detail-oriented, and eager to utilize their skills to assist in the improvement of our candidate, onboarding, and overall team member experience. Responsibilities: • Attend meetings, huddles, and training sessions to gain exposure to the team and cross-functional projects • Support the People Team in a variety of areas through initiative-based projects • Assist in the job requisition process, the creation of job descriptions, and resume reviews • Help drive team member engagement through Workplace, programs, and events • Participate in training sessions such as new hire onboarding, Mortgage 101, and on-the-job training and provide feedback • Exemplify the UMortgage culture and principles by bringing your best every day • Identify areas for improvement and help create solutions for the business, conducting research as needed • Brainstorm, develop, and complete an Internship Program Project that will be presented to the company's leadership team • Network and collaborate with current and future team members • Work with other interns across multiple departments within the company • Additional responsibilities related to business needs Qualifications: • Rising senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field   • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and dynamic environment • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills • High level of adaptability, accountability, and analytical skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Able to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and perform multiple tasks with high attention to detail • Proficiency in Google Suite Compensation: $15 hourly
