    SUMMARY:

    This position requires a dedicated individual who will take direction from the Finance Team in accounting for all incoming revenue and preparing cash for daily deposit.

    Required Skills

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • As a member of the Finance team, you will lead by example by being patient, kind, humble, respectful, selfless, forgiving, honest and committed when interacting with one another and guests   
    • Ensures the vault has an adequate supply of cash on hand
    • Fills and verifies the dollar amount and bill denominations of change bags prior to distribution
    • Counts the amount of cash in the safes at the beginning of the workday to maintain the specified balance. Notifies one of the Accounting Clerks of any discrepancies as soon as discovered
    • Performs daily reconciliations of cash and credit card sales from previous day, including completing paperwork for each cashier and forwards to Sales Audit Accounting Clerk
    • Performs surprise cashier audits each week
    • Prepares all cash for the daily deposit and files all credit card transactions
    • Responsible for handling sensitive customer credit card information in compliance with data security procedures and PCI standards, including processing sales department customer credit card payments
    • Performs other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to assisting the Accounting Clerks when needed

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Prefer candidate with some accounting experience or accounting classes
    • Excellent money-handling experience and mathematical skills
    • Excellent administrative, organizational and record-keeping skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays – approximately 12-20 hours per week
    • Must be detail oriented and precise with cash office paperwork
    • Must have good PC skills and be familiar with Excel Spreadsheets and email
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with internal control policies and procedures

     

    Required Experience

    PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Successful completion of background and credit check
    • Ability to bend and stoop
    • Physical strength, including the ability to lift up to 25 pounds
