LOCATION: Las Vegas, Nevada
JOB DESCRIPTION: The candidate for this role will be responsible for driving sales and profitability for the Tools, Fastening and Safety categories in the West District Branches (St. George, and Cedar City) along with Codale’s Industrial, Commercial and Renewable business verticals.
A basic understanding of the product lines is preferred but not required.
This person will need to possess the ability to comfortably interface with internal customers, Codale sales associates, branch, and district managers, as well as develop relationships with Codale’s external customers.
This person will also be responsible for monitoring and balancing branch inventory levels, driving promotions, creatively support initiatives and supporting ancillary lines within their geographical territory.
Travel will be traveled required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of Tools, Fasteners and Safety products preferred, not required.
Ability to work independently.
Must have good analytical and computer skills including mastery of MS Office software.
Working knowledge of Eclipse ERP preferred, but not required (Training offered).
Ability to communicate and present effectively with / to counter, inside and outside account managers, vendors, purchasing, marketing in a professional manner.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
OTHER SKILLS/EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
Six months or more related experience and/or training is preferred.
Ability to grow and maintain relationship with any individual, irrespective of the background and type of personality.
Possession of good sense of humor.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong creativity and critical thinking abilities.
Ability to work with recent technological applications relating to daily tasks.
Possess reliable problem-solving ability.
