    Job Description

    SUMMARY:

    Reviews, analyzes and renders decisions on loan applications received from Indirect Lending dealers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Processes and decisions loans within assigned limits, including inputting loan data in the computer, review of credit report, dealer contracts, membership documents and other supporting documents.
    • Interacts with dealers clarifying loan decisions as necessary.
    • Participates in the testing of new indirect loan software and new software releases.
    • Assists with revisions to and communicates changes of indirect loan procedures.
    • Works on special projects or assignments as appointed by Management.
    • Processes escalated dealer phone calls.
    • Performs duties of Indirect Loan Processor as needed.
    • Reviews indirect loan requests including denials and those that fall outside of established parameters.
    • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union service standards, policies, and procedures; and with the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with three years experience in a Lending environment, preferably in a financial institution.
    • Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups.
    • Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software applications.
