    SUMMARY:

    • Promotes, processes, analyze and services Credit Union Business Loan Products, Services and Programs.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensures a full and complete working knowledge of all Credit Union Business loan products, programs, policies, procedures and all governing regulatory laws and guidelines including but not limited to the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), Small Business Administration (SBA), Uniformed Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) and Uniformed Commercial Code (UCC) regulations.
    • Ensures a full and complete working knowledge of all operational functions required, including but not limited to, ensuring all regulatory aspects of escrow impound accounts are adhered to, all required government and investor reporting is completed on or prior to the deadline, all regulatory aspects of variable rate loans are adhered to and detailed due diligence quality examinations of loan files are completed as required for regulatory and secondary market investor compliance.
    • Creates Member Business loan files containing all required documentation, ensuring that all loan documents are identified and properly categorized.
    • Updates Member Business loan files timely; maintains files in examination ready quality at all times.
    • Works with participation partners and borrowers ensuring all required documentation is received for loan files.
    • Prepares monthly Board reports relating to Member Business loans.
    • Communicates with the Business loan master servicer to acquire all necessary reports and information to create journal entries to record loan activity.
    • Prepares weekly reporting.  Maintaining Business Services loan databases and other records as required.
    • Meets and exceeds department performance standards and production goals.
    • Assists in preparing and arranging the dissemination of information to business members and others that will ensure information received is correct and projects a favorable image for the Credit Union.
    • Attends industry/professional seminars, training, etc.
    • Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Service Standards, policies, procedures and the Bank Secrecy Act.
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • High school graduate or equivalent required some college preferred with a minimum of three years of business or commercial loan processing and/or underwriting experience preferably in a financial institution.
    • Requires a working knowledge of commercial loan files and the relevant documents contained therein and all governing regulatory laws and guidelines including but not limited to NCUA, SBA, USPAP and UCC regulations.  
    • Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, have proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software applications and work without constant supervision.
