OFFICE ASSISTANT

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The responsibilities and duties of the Office Assistant at United Turbine Inc. on a daily basis is listed below. This is how the job functions within the organization and who the Assistant reports to, which is the General Manager and Office Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer six-line phone system and direct calls as required
• Design and maintain filing and storage systems in the office
• Schedule customer door measurements and door installations
• Assist door installer and THD Associates with the door orders
• Maintain office supply inventory
• Retrieve documents and files when requested
• Assist HR with sorting and collating resumes
• Read and routs incoming mail and process outgoing mail
• Light accounting duties
• Create, edit, and update spreadsheet
• Draft correspondences and other formal documents
• Plan and schedule appointments and events
• Greet and assist onsite guests
• Develop and implement organized filing systems
• Perform all other office tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• ​Strong organizational skills

We have been in business since 1981 doing Home Improvement all over Southern California for the public.
