OFFICE ASSISTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The responsibilities and duties of the Office Assistant at United Turbine Inc. on a daily basis is
listed below. This is how the job functions within the organization and who the Assistant reports
to, which is the General Manager and Office Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer six-line phone system and direct calls as required
- Design and maintain filing and storage systems in the office
- Schedule customer door measurements and door installations
- Assist door installer and THD Associates with the door orders
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Retrieve documents and files when requested
- Assist HR with sorting and collating resumes
- Read and routs incoming mail and process outgoing mail
- Light accounting duties
- Create, edit, and update spreadsheet
- Draft correspondences and other formal documents
- Plan and schedule appointments and events
- Greet and assist onsite guests
- Develop and implement organized filing systems
- Perform all other office tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
