We are currently seeking full time Court Research Specialists to join our growing team. This position is responsible for searching and providing accurate criminal and civil court record information to our clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform record research through various court access systems
- Review and analyze court data, identifying key information, and entering it into a common format
- Contact clerk of court and other agencies via telephone as needed to obtain and/or confirm case information
- Review your own work and that of Court Records team members to assure accuracy in search criteria and data entry
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent written communication skills (spelling/grammar)
- Demonstrated ability to complete sequential tasks in an efficient and accurate manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced atmosphere with a fluctuating workload
- Work independently and/or in a team environment as needed
- Data entry/word processing skills and a high degree of comfort navigating the internet and using web-based applications
- Typing/keyboarding skills of at least 35 words/minute
- High School education is required, but coursework or an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal or other related field is preferred
- Knowledge of criminal court processes and terminology will be an asset to this position
