For more than thirty years,Universal experts have consulted with clients to implement compliant backgroundscreening programs tailored to their unique needs.

    We are looking for an AccountExecutive in Sales who will report directly to the Senior Vice President and Manager ofSales. This position focuses on bringing in new sales via warm/strategic calling, targeted vertical market campaigns, territory selling, and other selected means.  The National Account Executive needs to have at least one (1) year of sales experience while demonstrating strong drive, interdependence, dedication, healthy competitiveness, likes to be on the phone, and be a team player.

    This position would contribute to the current success andsupportive team environment and provide the means of a successful career, whilebeing able to contribute and make a difference in the background screeningindustry.  Along with other primary duties:

    • Responsible for making an adequate amount of targeted “strategic” warm calls on a daily basis
    • Entering all leads and clients in a timely manner into the CRM System
    • Setting up new accounts (discovery calls, demos/presentations, agreements, pricing exhibits)
    • Meeting with Sales Manager on a weekly basis to discuss current opportunities, strategies & obstacles
    • Following up with prospects and their top clients
    • Other duties as assigned

     REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience in sales (minimum 1-year experience)
    • Proven track record for successful building of revenue, successful sales cycle conversion and networking with strategic markets
    • Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, GoTo Meeting, CRM
    • Must be flexible, well organized, detail-oriented, able to handle a fast-paced work environment
    • Possess good communication, writing skills, tech-savvy and strong work ethic
    • An eager, customer centric, confident and professional image
    • Dedicated to taking on significant work and complete it in a timely manner
