Job Description

Description: As a messaging and communications strategist at Unleaded you will be the go-to advisor on how to communicate the client’s products, services and value proposition to each audience segment. You will work closely with a brand and marketing consultant and marketing operations manager to outline key messages for sales and marketing assets such as websites, presentations, infographics, videos and advertisements. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining messaging strategy documents and writing/copy editing corporate communications such as emails, press releases, speeches and presentation talking points.

Responsibilities:

• In-depth technical understanding of the clients’ products and services
• Developing messaging strategies for each product, service and unique audience segment
• Articulating the clients’ value proposition
• Writing content briefs and defining key messages for marketing and sales assets
• Reviewing all sales and marketing assets for technical accuracy and consistent phrasing
• Interviewing client subject matter experts to gather information to write case studies, press releases, speeches and presentation talking points

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as content/messaging strategist or corporate communications
• Demonstrated ability to understand technically complex products, services or businesses
• Excellent writing skills and ability to convey complex information concisely
• Able to effectively develop and deliver presentations
• Experience working with executive level leadership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team-centric environment where collaboration and teamwork is paramount to success
