    JOB DESCRIPTION

    We are searching for a talented individual to take on the integral role of the Supply Chain Manager. The primary objective of this position is to effectively manage our global supply chain; from forecasting and purchasing to international freight and logistics. This is a high stakes role that requires a leader with exceptional project management and decision-making skills, along with the ability to think critically and find solutions that enable our company to continue scaling at a rapid pace. 

       

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Optimize inventory levels through each season; Accurately forecast demand to minimize stockouts and avoid surpluses

    • Create projections and sales targets for both e-commerce and wholesale channels to follow as quarterly & seasonal goals

    • Maximize perfect receives by effectively managing purchase order timelines and holding suppliers accountable to meet our standards for product quality, lead time and accuracy

    • Meet gross margin requirements by tracking landed product costs and overseeing Cost of Goods 

    • Maintain accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts within Warehouse and reconciling our systems

    • Monitor actual sales against projections on a weekly basis to proactively adjust the in-flow of goods coming from our suppliers

    • Analyze data reports and adjust reorder points to accurately calculate lead time demand

    • Reduce purchasing costs by building loyal relationships, negotiating and purchasing at economies of scale

    • Oversee logistics partners to manage inbound freight costs and ensure lead times are met

    • Assist Product Development team by overseeing timelines and enforcing deadlines for new developments

    • Enforce and monitor bulk quality inspections at our factories (AQL); Ensure quality reports meet or exceed standards

    • Enforce AQL inspections at our factories to ensure product quality standards are met

    • Oversee Warehouse processes to create efficiencies for inventory control, shipping and receiving, and maximizing warehouse capacity

    • Monitor inbound freight and outbound shipping costs; Identify ways to reduce costs and improve service levels for our customers

     

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong forecasting and demand planning experience

    • Exceptional critical-thinking and problem solving abilities

    • Ability to create (or improve) processes to maximize efficiencies

    • Ability to hire, manage and delegate responsibilities effectively

    • Ability to candidly challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong budgeting and financial reporting experience

    • Experience with Inventory and Warehouse Management Systems is preferred

    • Knowledge of legal compliance requirements for consumer goods is preferred (HTS codes, tariffs, labeling requirements, etc.) 

    • 5+ years of work experience in operations (supply chain) is preferred

    • 2+ years of management and leadership experience is preferred
