    We are seeking a Part-time Night Automated Pallet Wrapping Operator who will relish the opportunity to exceed their potential, develop professionally, and enjoy the perks of becoming part of the US FOODS® family.

    Schedule :

    3 days a week [Sunday-Thursday; schedule varies based on team requirements]

    Approximately 10-hour shifts or until completed

    Approximately 5pm/6pm to 1:30am/2am

    Main Elements of the Job!

    As a US FOODS® Automated Pallet Wrapping Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:

    • To wrap all outgoing orders in assigned loading zones in accordance with company policies and standards. This ensures that the drivers have the products securely stored and organized for optimal efficiency during the day's deliveries.
    • Ensure that all pallets are constructed according to preferred methods and wrapped from the bottom of the pallet to the top boxes on each pallet to prevent damage during transit. Notify a supervisor of any issues.
    • Ensure that work is completed efficiently and on schedule. Keep pallets in the work area wrapped according to dispatch times and on track to avoid hindering loader productivity.
    • Confirm that header labels are positioned in the upper right-hand corner for the loader to easily locate.
    • Ensure that the work area is free of debris at all times. Assist loaders by unloading trailers staged in doors that contain pallets, blankets, straps, and any debris remaining in the trailer. Raise the door, lock the trailer to the dock, and lower the dock plate.
    • Work in extreme temperatures of 100+ degrees and below freezing
    • Ensure that the automated pallet wrapping equipment is clean and in good working order at all times. Do not allow excess shrink wrap to accumulate around the guide wheel. Do not cut shrink wrap from rollers using a box cutter. Do not place stickers on any part of the equipment. Wipe down the equipment at the end of each shift.
    • Adhere to all safety work practices and maintain a clean and organized dock area.

    What you bring to the table

    Education/Training :

    High School Diploma or GED preferred.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

    Keen attention to detail; Ability to read batch labels; basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Must be a team player and capable of building rapport with others

    You should be proficient in:

    • Developing Preventive Maintenance Plans
    • Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills
    • Current Commercial Driver's License
    • High School Diploma / GED
