Job Description

U.S. ICE is a family owned, Michigan-based Company founded in 1984. At U.S. ICE we manufacture ice using pure, fresh water that becomes crystal pure ice. The production Ice is bagged in 7Ib and 22Ib bags. The job is to oversee the manufacturing of all bagged ice using automated machinery. Maintain a constant flow of palletized ice to ensure the freezer is as full as possible, as quickly as possible. Also, to maintain machinery used in the manufacturing of bagged ice to avoid any breakdowns and stoppages in production. Responsibility includes the following:

JOB DUTIES:

1. Document start and stop ice making procedure

2. Train and mentor new Ice operator on how to make ice (when needed)

3. Report any operator issue to management

4. Clean Ice automation room on daily basis

5. Perform Ice automation maintenance and maintain a log

6. Record and maintain issue log

7. Preform bag inventory and report to management

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

· Mechanically Inclined

· Physically Fit

EDUCATION:

· High School Diploma (required)

· GED (required)
