Job Summary: U.S. Medical Staffing is seeking reliable Speech Therapists to travel to Various School districts in Nassau County. This position would primarily be for pre-school aged students. The Speech therapist would be responsible for meeting at the Students schools to perform the schedule. This position is Part time with the Ability to become full time. The speech therapist will be Presented all the cases and will have the ability to select what they want to create their weekly schedules. This would be Monday to Friday with no weekends or holidays. Speech therapist would never be required to meet at the students house. this position would begin after Labor day.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Filling out a Paper timesheet for each student.

Documenting the Appropriate Paperwork for each child

Carry out Individualized treatment plans

Teach Clients hot to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency

Help clients improve vocabulary and sentence structure

work with clients to develop and strengthen the muscles used to swallow

identify clients goals for treatment

Evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty

Job Qualifications:

NYS Speech Language Pathology License

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology

New York State Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD )

Fingerprinted by the DOE or willing to be Fingerprinted by the DOE
