Job Summary : U.S. Medical Staffing is Seeking Reliable Licensed Practical Nurses ( LPN ) and Registered Nurses ( RN ) for our 2024 School and Cap Summer Programs. These positions Vary in description and are usually Office positions or one to one positions assisting students with disabilities. For some of our camp positions they may be local or they can be travel assignments. We are looking to staff various districts and camps all over Suffolk and Nassau County on long Island.

Job Responsibilities are but not limited to :

Nurse would be responsible for professional medical treatment of students.

Maintaining clinical records.

Dispensing prescriptions medications to students per physician instructions.

Documenting all Medication given to students.

Working Diligently along side the other nurses to run a smooth office.

Providing emergency aid to students and school staff

Educating students on hygiene and safety practices

Contacting parents when needed

Job Requirements:

Current NYS Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse

NYS Registered Nurse Nursing Registration or Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience wit Insulin and Diabetics

Experience with Seizure students and Medication

BCLS or ACLS -The American Heart Association

Physical (WITHIN ONE YEAR)

PPD, Chest X-Ray or QuantiFERON Gold TB blood results

MMR/Titers Lab Report

Two forms for government ID’s
