Job Summary: U.S. Medical Staffing is seeking reliable Physical Therapist to travel to Various School districts in Nassau County. This position would primarily be for pre-school aged students. The Physical Therapist would be responsible for meeting at the Students schools to perform the schedule. This position is Part time with the Ability to become full time. The Physical l therapist will be Presented all the cases and will have the ability to select what they want to create their weekly schedules. This would be Monday to Friday with no weekends or holidays. Physical therapist would never be required to meet at the students house. this position would begin after Labor day.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Filling out a Paper timesheet for each student.

Documenting the Appropriate Paperwork for each child

Evaluates the student’s ability and formulates the student’s profile through a variety of functional, behavioral, and standardized assessments, skilled observation, checklists, histories, and interviews.

Implements individual and group treatment for Physical Therapy.

Participating in multidisciplinary and parent conferences to discuss student progress, as well as offering recommendations for specific therapy programs relating to both individuals and groups of students.

Consulting with school and supervisory staff on matters relating to Physical Therapy including: instruction on therapeutic intervention; appropriate use of therapeutic equipment, methods, and instruction; and student’s current level of function.

Consulting with parents/guardians regarding treatment goals, specialized therapeutic equipment, and other recommendations to enhance the student’s functional ability within the classroom and home setting.

Job Qualifications:

NYS Physical Therapy License

Degree in Physical Therapy

Fingerprinted by the DOE or willing to be Fingerprinted by the DOE
